Xbox wireless headset best settings12/7/2023 ![]() I don’t want to spend days tweaking settings just to get it to the same level of clarity as my G2. That’s why I’ve heard that setting up the Q3 for good performance can be a pain. Mind you I run most of my VR settings on ultra and not willing to turn them down. Can’t beat the q3 lens but I’m well used to the G2 lens, and I just despise the stutters I was getting on the Q3. Not sure why and I tried many hours of settings changes. I really think the NVIDIA DLSS is what allows this to happen with the G2 but with the Q3, DLSS made things worse. I could get similar frames on the q3 as the G2 but the Q3 was choppy in a lot of areas and required me to lower the TLOD. ![]() Happy if there would be one tool sometime to get all those profiles together (Win, MSFS, Oculus, OpenXR Toolkit, Oculus Debug Tool, Nvidia Control Panel). There are too many variables as there is the “one solution for all”.įor me the Edge to Edge clarity and sharpness ingame (cockpit and outside) is absolutely more worth than having everything maxed out (have MSFS settings between High-Ultra, lowered my previous LOD a bit). ![]() About the 940 Bitrate I’m not sure if it is really needed…īut! I think there are so many items that could change the experience… settings in Nvidia Control Panel, settings in MS Windows, other settings in MSFS etc. Today I took the settings from the Video as Baseline (owning a 4090). While yesterday I found a setting with 72hz 36FPS locked where I said, well lets try this more in detail, looks nice and fluid. So, I will now get rid of my headset… enough is enough! But not the Q3 need to leave, I will now definitely sell my G2.įor owners of 4090 or 4080, this might be a starting point if not yet found your settings: Meta Quest 3 - VR performance Virtual Reality (VR)
